PUTRAJAYA, 6 October 2026 — Kaara Saaram Claypot (KSC) marked an important milestone at the Franchise Registration Approval Certificate Presentation Ceremony held at the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) in Putrajaya.
Its registration as a franchisor is a key step in KSC’s strategic expansion plan to grow across Malaysia and enter international markets through franchise and business partnerships.
As a Malaysian Indian brand in the registered franchise sector, KSC aims to bring authentic Malaysian Indian cuisine to a wider audience. Known for its signature claypot dishes and banana leaf-wrapped specialities, the brand offers piping hot, freshly prepared meals and a distinctive dining experience.
Supported by a Halal-certified central kitchen, standardised recipes and structured operating procedures, KSC is building the foundation for consistent quality as it expands. Franchise partners will receive support spanning outlet setup, training, branding, marketing and ongoing operational improvement.
This milestone reinforces KSC’s ambition to build a recognised Malaysian brand while creating opportunities for entrepreneurs who share its passion for food and hospitality.
KSC extends its sincere appreciation to KPDN and PERNAS for supporting the growth of homegrown franchise brands.
